History of Liverpool FC


Liverpool Football Club (also known as the Liverpool or the Reds) are a football club participants Premiership. Liverpool is the most successful club in English football history is based in the city of Liverpool. Liverpool has won five Champions League trophy (former European Cup), which was a record Inggris.18 English League titles, 7 FA Cups, as well as, 7 times League Cup winners. They were at Anfield Stadium, which is located about 4.8 km from the center of Liverpool.

History

One of the most successful clubs in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1892 due to dispute between Everton FC Committee with John Holding as President of the Club who is also the owner of Anfield stadium. As a result of this opposition, Everton finally moved to Goodison Park stadium and John Holding made the Anfield stadium as Liverpool FC cage until now. The club was given the name of Everton FC and Athletic Grounds, Ltd.., Or Everton Athletic summarized, but the FA refused to admit there are two teams called Everton. Finally, in June 1892 John Houlding was eventually chose the name Liverpool FC. Liverpool incarnates a serious force in English football competition.


In his first season, Liverpool FC won the Lancashire League before eventually joining the Second Division League in season 1893/94. In his first season in Division II Premier League, Liverpool FC instantly become champions and entitled to promotion to the English League First Division (now Premier League). It did not take long for Liverpool to taste the title in the league, because in his first season in Division I of this (season 1900/01), Liverpool won the Division One success and repeat it again five years later. Liverpool FC won the league two successful consecutive seasons of 1921/22 and 1922/23 seasons, but did not get the trophy again until the 1946/47 season when the league won the title of the 5th. FA Cup Final first performed in 1914, although eventually they defeated Burnley 1-0. After wading Division I for more than 50 years, finally Liverpool FC in decline and relegated to the Second Division in season 1953/54.

Liverpool had struggled before finally coming of Bill Shankly as manager in December 1959. Shankly remodel massive team with 24 players off the old and use a room at Anfield stadium for a meeting coaching. The room is called 'The Boot Room' which successfully gave birth to the legendary Liverpool managers in the future. In this room that Bill Shankly and members of the 'Boot Room' like Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan and Reuben Bennett began to build the strength that makes Liverpool FC team envious enemies. The result of renovations carried out by Bill Shankly started off when the successful promotion to Division I in the 1961/62 season and became the champions league in the 1963/64 season. After winning the first FA Cup in 1965 and won the League in 1965/66 season, Bill Shankly managed to bring the League title and UEFA Cup in 1972/73 season. The next season, Bill Shankly managed to bring the FA Cup title after slaying Newcastle United 3-0. No one expected that the FA Cup title was the last offering of a Bill Shankly. Because all of a sudden Bill Shankly decided to retire. Players and Liverpudlian (nickname for Liverpool FC fan) tried to persuade, even the workers at Liverpool threatened to strike. But Bill Shankly fixed on the managerial position and handed the stick to his assistant Bob Paisley ie. Bill Shankly finally retired in 1974 and joined the Reds in the stands of The Kop.

Liverpool's triumph continued with Bill Shankly Bob Paisley who was then 55 years old. He served as manager of Liverpool FC from 1974 until 1983 and only in the early years of Bob Paisley can not provide a title for Liverpool FC. The incident happened before the Champions Cup final between Liverpool and Juventus FC, killing 39 people, mostly Juventus supporters. This incident resulted in the prohibition to all British football clubs to compete in Europe for 5 years. And Liverpool FC is prohibited followed all European competition for 10 years finally reduced to 6 years. In addition, 14 Liverpudlian plead guilty over the incident known as the Heysel tragedy. After that horrible incident, Joe Fagan decided to retire and give managerial staff next to Kenny Dalglish who was appointed as player-manager.
